The operation of the pay-off motor is driven by a frequency converter, and the wire tension in the wire-drawing link is drawn and sent to the wire-drawing machine to achieve free pay-off. The wire-drawing link uses multiple motors to stretch the metal cable at the same time, which requires high synchronization of the motors. In this link, there are multiple drums equipped with tension sensors to detect the tension during the wire-drawing process, and finally sent to the Take-up motor. The winding motor is connected to the tension sensor through a photoelectric encoder, and the tension signal is fed back to the wire drawing link to further control the winding to keep the winding line speed constant.

The drawing machine system adopts advanced PLC control mode. Among them, the PLC is the core of the control system, the frequency converter and the asynchronous AC motor are the controlled objects, 6 AC motors are controlled by 6 frequency converters, and the tension sensor is used for the tension detection device of the 4 reel drawing wires. The electrical circuit of the whole machine is simplified, the system failure rate is low, and the service life is long. The frequency converter can smoothly and steplessly adjust the speed of each motor under the control of PLC, realizing various actions and functions in the working process of the wire drawing machine.

The rest of the system, such as cylinder clamping, wire drawing, running indicator light, alarm, start and stop, manual and automatic mode switching, emergency stop and other logic control functions, can write a suitable PLC control program according to the production process.
